Thank God it is Over!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God it is over! Yes we survived another Christmas without killing anyone. We don't go to the family, why? Well "they" didn't call or left it to a few days before the big day to ask if we where coming. So we went to the the Civic Centre where the combine Churches put on Christmas lunch for anyone who comes. The best part there is not cooking, cleaning up or family you can't stand to be with there. This is the third year in a row that we have been so I guest you can call it a family Christmas tradition now.

I Hate Christmas

Yes the "Silly Season" is on us once more and I am not looking forward to it. Why? You may ask, well for a number of reasons. The first is family (some not all) who think you should drive for hours in sinking hot weather with Grandmother who is getting on and is incontinence to have Christmas lunch at God knows what time and then have to sleep the night on the hard floor(or one of those fold up beds form hell) because you too drunk to drive home. No thank you.

Worst then this is when the some family members called next year at the last moment to ask if you are coming and you reply "NO" so they get all up in arms about it and don't talk to you for months or years.

Then the some family members the year after this say they coming up to see you at the last minute, then not show up! Why? Well because their kid who is grow up(in her late teens at the time) has come down with so called "food poisoning" but is well enough to answer the SMS messages that you send to her Mother's mobile phone with spiteful replies. All this just because you wanted find out what has happen?

So know if mum ask what would I like to to do for Christmas this year? I answer with "Let go to the Civic Centre". The local church group put on a Christmas do every year for anyone who show up. The best thing it is free and there is no mad family members to see. Well Merry Bloody Christmas to you all and Happy New year

Mum has gone and purchase a Wii this week. She wanted to try the Wii fit program. Should I have stop her after all it cost over $600. Money we could have spent on something else. Hell no we (or should that be me)having fun playing games like the Force Unleashed. God are my arms hurt after playing it. The other thing I like is unlike my computer I don't need to f@#$ing down load a patch file.

Pass the buck?

Just been reading a number of blogs from the UK about baby P. Some old story if you ask me. A child is dead that was under the care of the local Social Services. This has happened not too long ago in New South Wales. The State Government spent millions of dollars looking into it. The problem? Overwork staff at DOCS, not enough short term foster places and little or no interact with other services like the police force. In the end nothing changes and give it a few years we hear the some story in the paper or on the TV only the names will change.

No thank you E.A.

I have it up to here with Warhammer Online. I was looking forward to this game and park out the $89 for it only to find out I got a piece of crap. It will not run why?

We have identified an issue with the Warhammer Online Standard Editions in AU and NZ. Some of you have mentioned that after installing the game, there is no icon on your desktop (the shortcut would look like a small black window). Please be aware that we are aware of the problem and have investigated the cause of it. There was a DVD duplication error and as a result, the exe file is corrupted. This issue only affects Warhammer Standard Editions in AU and NZ. Collector Editions are not affected.

Yes there was corrupted file and I have tried the fix, it didn't work so now I got to go back and return this game and go on line and cancel my account because of this, so thank you EA for wasting my time. I think twice before I buy any games from you in the near future

What The Duck?

I sometimes wonder about my neighbours. Yes the idiots at the back have gotten a duck. Then they stick him up the backyard in the corner. Hardly any room for the poor thing as you can see in the photo. Sent a email to the R.S.P.C.A about, just hope he dose not die from the hot weather we are having.

Not Affiliated With The Monster Mad Raving Loony Party

First up I would like to thank Ladythinker for the title of this post. Gave me a good laugh reading that. Yes I do know of the Monster Mad Raving Loony Party! Maybe I should put a link up to the web site.
Been reading Inspector Gadget Blog. Why do we need pubs and clubs open for 24 hours. It only seems to leads to the problems. One idiot on TV went on about how shift workers like to go out after work. Come on! I have worked a number of jobs where doing shift work and I can tell you when I got off work in the early hours of the morning the last thing I wanted to was going to the pub for a beer. This type of thinking has lead to some places in Sydney becoming no go zones after dark. When will this madness stop? I guest when so called M.P. wake up to themselves but that not go to but anytime soon.

My Mad Dog

Well here I am blogging twice in one day. It has been cold windy weather today with some heavy rain. It been more like winter then the start of spring. I have had the dog in for most of the day because of its. Well this afternoon she comes up to me with a dog biscuit in her mouth. What did she want? She wanted to go out in the backyard to bury it. God you got to laugh. It is things like this that kept me going on day like this.

In at the deep end

Well here I go my first blog. Who am I? Well I 36 years old at the time of this and I am on what is called the Disability Support Pension. This means I have a medical reason why I can't work. This sounds like fun but I can tell you it is not. The money does not go far as there are bills to pay and on top of this is the pain which stops me form working. Ok maybe I should tell you the story of how I got here.
At the age of 12 I was coming home form my friend place. As I crossed the road in front of my house I was hit by a car. The car was going at well over a 100km an hour. I was lucky to be alive and spent the next month in hospital. This has left me with a number of problems.
I still finished school and worked on and off for a number of years doing anything I could. Security, cleaning, ward orderly and then nursing. It was three years ago that I started to lose feeling in my right and the back pain got worst. This lead to me going to my doctor. Who sent me for a cat scan of my lower back which revealed a ruptured disc. I know now that I have not one but three ruptured discs. This makes life hell. I am always in pain because of it and I am losing feeling in my right leg and my hands.
Well that my two cents for now.
