Optus Sucks

This is how I feel about my so call mobile phone service from Optus! It has nothing to do with my phone or poor service it got to do with the call centre that has call for the fifth time this week this morning! Why do they call? Will it's it is on behalf of Optus to see if I have my phone setup and if I am happy with the service. I had my Iphone for about six months and had no problems with it. Set it up so I can get my e mail and log onto Facebook using Wifi at home. All this without anyone helping me so why do I need any help from Optus. I believe this is not customer service but harassment! Think when my contact is up next year I will be going to one of the other carries so I don't have this crap all the time. After all it is my phone.

The "Long" weekend

This long weekend we have Gran staying over. Mum was talking about giving up her fulltime job to look after Gran but I think she has change her mind now as it would be too much for her at take on. I would love to get Gran out of the Nursing Home she is in but Mum health is not that good now and I am not up to been a fulltime carer also. We are between a rock and a hard place with this as we are not one hundred percent happy with the Home and the care she is getting there but Gran 91 years old and needs more then we can give her. So as much as it pains Mum and me. Gran well most likely send the rest of her life in the Home but we will try our best to help. That means more "Long" weekends to come.

Anzac Day Dawn service at Ingleburn

This morning got out of bed in the early hours to go to the Anzac Day dawn service at the Ingleburn RSL. I have always talked about going in years pass but just have not done it. Well finally done it. It's on days like this that I remember my Grandad and how I miss him now. It has been over ten years when I got the phone call from the nursing home telling us that he had passed away.I can still now recall his funny story about Fredo the frog that he would make up and tell me.He would not tell me anything of his war service like many men he don't think he was a hero. He was just doing his job. Well I will rise a glass to him and the other Australians who serviced this Great country today. Lest We Forget

If it is not nailed down then it is up for sale in New South Wales. Case in point Hurlstone Agricultural High School land is up for sale. The School which has sits on 160 hectare of land at Glenfields for over 100 years has been an important for Agricultural education for not just the state but also for Australia, the country which once rode on the sheep back is now seen by the New South Wales government as one big cash cow. The government is now trying to sell the idea by having an inquiry into the sale which looks like a white wash, this after a paper by the Education department came to light this week which recommended that money form the sale be used to pay for the inquiry. This becoming like an bad episode of Yes Minster! What Next?

ALL WE WANTED IS A RAIL LINK

All we wanted is a rail link to Leppington! but the New South Wales Govnerment which is planing to have 330 000 new houses to be built by 2020 in the Camden area which this railway line would have served was dropped due to buget cuts and what do we get. Money for 40 buses. The main roads into Camden are cogged already now with the grow in this area it's only going to get worst.40 buses is not the answer.

Doing this on a Mac

Doing this on a Mac mini as my Compaq PC has died. God it was only been two years and it has packed it in. Just lucky I had the Mini or I would have been F@#$ed. The only problem is there is alot of work on my PC which I will have to work out how to get to some how? As for getting another PC, we will see?

Oz day 2009

Well here we are again Australia Day. Our national holiday where we get a day off and celebrate been Australian. Some would like to move it because it might offend the Aborigines. Yes lest waste money on a government committee working that one out. God it's Hot

God it's hot! The last week or so we been getting over 35c with the temp hitting 41c and there more days like this to come. Thank God I got the small pool up. It's not big but man it better then frying to death. Thinking of going fishing but I think I leave it till after the school holidays so I don't have to deal with the traffic.

Thank you idiots on the Rosemeadows' 3M housing estate for making Campbelltown and people who live in Government housing look like inbred morons. If they don't like the police around everyday then stop what you fucking doing As for the minster for housing going on about this type of behaviour will not be tolerated! We have heard that one before. Is there not a small island off the coast of say Antarctica where we can send these people and their so called parents?

Survived Another Year!

Well here we are. I survived another year. The dickhead neighbours at the back did what they do every holidays have a party till the small hours with loud music and their light right on own bedroom windows so we had little or no sleep on New Years. It's not like we have not talked to them about it on a number of times. they just idiots who think they above everyone and show little empathy to others.Why?just because we live in government housing and they own their home.
We have call the police a numbers but that does nothing. I not blaming the coppers as they are just doing their job which is not easy in this part of the world but you think if the police show up time after time that you get the hint or is my fellow man that dumb are well happy new year to everyone :)
