Thank God it is Over!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God it is over! Yes we survived another Christmas without killing anyone. We don't go to the family, why? Well "they" didn't call or left it to a few days before the big day to ask if we where coming. So we went to the the Civic Centre where the combine Churches put on Christmas lunch for anyone who comes. The best part there is not cooking, cleaning up or family you can't stand to be with there. This is the third year in a row that we have been so I guest you can call it a family Christmas tradition now.

I Hate Christmas

Yes the "Silly Season" is on us once more and I am not looking forward to it. Why? You may ask, well for a number of reasons. The first is family (some not all) who think you should drive for hours in sinking hot weather with Grandmother who is getting on and is incontinence to have Christmas lunch at God knows what time and then have to sleep the night on the hard floor(or one of those fold up beds form hell) because you too drunk to drive home. No thank you.

Worst then this is when the some family members called next year at the last moment to ask if you are coming and you reply "NO" so they get all up in arms about it and don't talk to you for months or years.

Then the some family members the year after this say they coming up to see you at the last minute, then not show up! Why? Well because their kid who is grow up(in her late teens at the time) has come down with so called "food poisoning" but is well enough to answer the SMS messages that you send to her Mother's mobile phone with spiteful replies. All this just because you wanted find out what has happen?

So know if mum ask what would I like to to do for Christmas this year? I answer with "Let go to the Civic Centre". The local church group put on a Christmas do every year for anyone who show up. The best thing it is free and there is no mad family members to see. Well Merry Bloody Christmas to you all and Happy New year
